An Evening with Nature Writer Charlie Bingham

Join us for an evening all about birds and bird-watching with nature writer Charlie Bingham as she discusses her acclaimed book ‘The Life-Affirming Magic of Birds (and the Extraordinary Things They Can Teach Us)’.

After completing a degree in archaeology at the University of York, Charlie began to reconnect with nature in her mid-twenties. She found that birds especially seemed to help her through difficult times and made it her life’s mission to share her love and passion with a wider audience. Charlie’s affinity with the natural world shines across her social media platforms and her work as a digital communications specialist and event manager for nature-based charities, such as Curlew Action. Charlie has written for several platforms and publications including CONKER Magazine, Bird Table, the Guardian, and Bald Hiker.
